Find Good Employment - What you Need to know About Jobs, Careers, and Opportunities!

Those that have been around a while might already know this information, but I can tell you that my own father was stuck in a JOB for over 20 years before he understood the difference between a job, career, and an opportunity.  Lucky for me I have learned from watching him and I know how to find good employment on all three levels.The JobA job is merely something to help you pay the bills while you gain skills to move into a better field or while you are searching for something else.  For example, I have always waited tables and bartended whenever I cannot find something in the field of my studies.  This happens sometimes because we do get laid off or leave a company for good reasons and we still have bills to pay.  These are just jobs, however.The CareerWhen you decide you need to find good employment the career is the dangerous one where people get stuck.  My dad made what was considered good money for 23 years, but hated what he did for most of those years.  This is a career and not what you really want, but you can get stuck here so be careful.The OpportunityWhen you find good employment this is an opportunity.  My father finally went back to school and got a degree in computers.  He now works for a company that lets him use his talents and he does very well with what he does.  He also runs his own business on the side fixing computers and he is much happier than he has ever been.  That is what an opportunity is.
