Getting Your Child Interested in Education

Just getting the attention of a high spirited child can be a challenge of a life time but being able to keep that child’s attention is the true trick to helping them spark their imagination in a sense that learning will be a fun and rewarding experience. Learning should never be confined strictly between the four walls of a learning facility. It should be ingrained in a child’s every day activates but far too often the mundane tasks of educating a child are left solely up to the assigned teacher. It’s vital that learning be a partnership between a child, their teacher, their social network and their parents. If a child has this partnership they will surely be set up to succeed in a world that demands more out of them at a younger and younger age! Once this bond is formed you’ll see your child learn in exponential ways that you likely thought wasn’t possible. Now, let’s get back to the task at hand. You want to be a partner in your child’s learning but you have a hard enough time getting their attention long enough to eat dinner or to take a bath! How on earth are you going to get them focused enough to learn? Here is the fun part! Structured learning events with parents should be at a minimum as this is the primary function of the teacher. A child must learn how to function in a highly structured environment in order to function properly in socially when they are in their adult years. Again, this should not be your primary focus when engaging in learning exercises. Because of this, you can utilize several techniques to keep (or not keep) your child’s attention. Many people have found great success in role-playing with their children. A lot can be learned by playing pirates! As your child is busy searching for lost treasure it you’re responsibility to fill their heads with the occasional fact or history lesson as you wander around the island with them searching for that lost gold! Don’t forget to get lost in time with them. This will not only help you with building educational bonds with your child, it will also help foster an emotional bond with your child that will last through your entire lives. Utilizing visual stimuli is a great way to use playtime as a learning tool. Playmobil Toys for example has a large product line of toys that can be used to spark the imagination and turn playtime into learning time for your child. Getting down on the floor and holding discussions with your child as you play will encourage the thought process, question asking and will have an end result of a stimulated child. No matter what method you choose to interact with your child it’s important that you participate in the educational process to ensure your values are being instilled into your child and that they feel you have a vested interest in their development. Who knows, you just might learn from them along the way!

Applying for Financial Aid: Student Credit Card Basics

Being a college student means not only happy times, new friends, exams and tests. It is also some financial problems that student have to bear. These financial problems are caused by high tuition and other related expanses. Student financial aid by means of grants, scholarships and loans are awarded to students in accordance with their financial needs. Credit cards are very popular among students. They are very easy to get and use.1. Actually, any person is able to apply for such credit card. Some card issuers, however, can verify the identity of the student by asking information about the name of college the student attends. Some credit card companies issue the limited number of cards and verify their owners very carefully, as they realize that most part of the students do not have credit card history. You have fewer chances to receive a credit card if you have limited history or no credit history at all. But credit card issuers realize that cards and money are necessary for students. The best improvement for the company of the students' responsibility is their regular attendance of college. The companies are sure that those students are reliable credit card holders.2. There is one more type of credit card that is a secured college credit card. It resembles some kind of the debit card. It allows students put and withdraw money any convenient time. The best pro of such cards is the possibility to put money on it. Another important advantage of the secured credit card is the absence of the interest rate because they do not have credits given by the credit card issuer. Some credit cards for college students offer particular recompense programs. Like any other usual credit card, those for students with special recompense programs have an APR. As usual, APR of such cards is higher than APR of the cards without recompense programs.

The War On Bullying

Bullying has always been a serious problem.  While its unclear if social cruelty has actually gotten worse in recent years or if we're just more aware of it because of increased attention, the current 'War on Bullying' trending up in popularity. You might suppose that with so many passionate advocates working to fix the problem that there would be some major headway.  Between the new laws, programs and policies, you  might guess that bullies are on the run. Before we take a look at the record of school-based anti-bullying policies, let’s take examine the  D.A.R.E. program for a parallel example. *          The anti-drug movement was at a flash point in the 80’s, the anti-bully movement has been gaining momentum and is a hot topic now *          There was a wide base of political and popular support for any law or program that promised a solution (DARE seemed to fit the bill). Anti-bullying legislation and school programs make identical promises. *         Both DARE and school-based anti-bully programs are created / presented by ‘experts’ *          Media attention helped create and intensify an anti-drug mania.  Similarly, news coverage of  multi-million dollar verdicts in anti-bully law suits, and the portrait of spree-killers rampaging through schools as ‘troubled, bullied outcasts’ helps to fuel the anti-bully campaign. The DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program features ‘friendly police officers’ who warn young students about the dangers of illegal drugs, as well as tobacco and alcohol and is now taught in over 75% of US school districts.  Its preposterously simplistic philosophy (“just say no!”) and lame curriculum (scare tactics, positive mantras and student pledges) raised questions since from its inception in 1983. Today, numerous studies have provided hard statistical evidence that DARE is an abysmal failure; the program has zero impact on its graduates rate of drug usage as compared to peers. The data revealing DARE’s complete inadequacy is so overwhelming that the General Accounting Office, the Department of Education and the Surgeon General’s Office have all   labeled the program as a gargantuan flop.  (A stunningly expensive flop, too – its squandered over $200 billion!) Back to the anti-bully programs infiltrating school systems across America and around the world.Dr. David Smith, PhD, of the University of Ottawa, conducted a meta analysis of all available research studies regarding the effectiveness of whole-school anti-bullying programs.  His results, published in the School Psychology Review (2004 issue) are  clear: *          14% of victim outcome reports showed a minor positive benefit *          86% of victim outcome reports were negligible or negative *          100% of self-reporting bully outcome reports demonstrated negligible / negative effectsIn 2007, another meta analysis out of Texas A&M  International University reviewed school-based bully prevention and intervention programs and came to the conclusion that overall, they showed “little discernible effect.” Vreeman and Carroll published a review of 26 school-based anti-bully programs in 2007 issue of the Achieves of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.  Only 3 could point to consistent reduction in bullying. Dr. Wendy Craig, author, researcher, speaker and professor of psychology at the prestigious Queen’s University in Canada, reports in her study that in 15% of schools with comprehensive anti-bullying problems  actually experienced the problems get worse. There are several anti-bully programs that testify how fantastic they are, and claim to have the documentation to prove it.  Where does this evidence come from?  Not surprisingly, from the very same companies that produce and market those programs.  This kind of back patting self-assessment is a little shady, and might be viewed with the same wariness as a child who grades his own report card or employee who writes his own performance review.Just like the avaricious politicians, hysterical crusaders and un-informed ‘feel-good’ supporters who continue to champion the DARE program in spite of its losing record, the anti-bully movement is happily marching into the same ocean.

Tomato Frog For Sale

Man has made innumerable types of gifts. From a simple chocolate to advanced robot pets, the list is endless. But none of man-made artificial gifts can compete with the ingenuity of Mother Nature. Nature gifts bring back the kids to nature and also bring back the kid in every adult. When you were a kid, all you wanted to do was run after that tadpole and catch that frog. The captive bred Tomato Frog for Sale is better than anyone else's. Because the Tomato frog is an endangered species, they are sold as captive bred babies. The Tomato Frog has three types : D. antongilii, D. insularis, or D. guineti of genus Dyscophus and family Microhylidae. They originated from Madagascar. The nomenclature came about because of their obvious bright red color appearance. When it feels predators nearby the Tomato Frog inflates its body. If taken into the mouth by a predator, the frog secretes a tough substance from its skin that jams the hunters eyes and mouth, instantly making the predator to let go of the smart frog. and take care of their burning eyes. This gum-like secretion sometimes causes allergic reactions, which are light and never fatal. This also happens only if the frog feels danger and gets frightened, which won't happen with you if you love the cute Tomato Frogs as much as we do. Their lives span from 6-8 years so you are sure to have a long and faithful companion, which is an instant attention grabber when you show it to your friends. The Females are larger and range to even 4 inches in length compared to Males which span between 2-3 inches. The breeders ship captive bred babies that average between 1-2 inches. Waldorf Education Between Shadow and Light: Class Two Discovers itself

When does a group become a group?  When do 20 or so smallish individuals pulling in 20 or so different directions begin to consistently find their common purpose?  For Ms. Doyle’s “very, very social” students, it’s in Class Two. Lively, bright, and eager describes this group in a mouthful, according to their teacher.  Sunrise’s seven- and eight-year-olds are definitely here to learn… and to socialize.  Ms. Doyle says this can be challenging, and also is one of their greatest strengths as a more and more cohesive group.  Seven-turning-eight is the time of animal fables and saint stories in the Waldorf curriculum.  An odd combination at first hearing, perhaps, but one that speaks to your needs when you’re seven or eight.  Higher self (enlightened human purpose) and lower self (lesser or destructive impulses) appear on the horizon at about this age.  High contrast pictures of the children’s inner light and shadows are painted every day in their social lives at school.  The shadow and the light are part of every one of us, of course, and these students dip into both as they grapple to find themselves between positive and negative poles.  A Class Two teacher therefore leans on the lower escapades of the animals and the higher deeds of the saints to speak to the children about their wholeness - and their choices.  In grade two the teacher has the unique experience of finding herself addressing moral issues with every single story she tells, whether in a language arts block or in an arithmetic lesson.  Every story our Class Two will hear this year will come with a moral message… without moralizing.  How is that done, exactly?  Meet the “pedagogical story”.  For example, with Class Two, Ms. Doyle witnesses the social dynamic in her class.  She sees over and over again exactly how… dynamic it can be.  Big changes in relations and behavior occur not just within a week but within a day or an hour, and 7- and 8-year old versions of bestial and saintly acts take place.  She spins special-order customized stories of lowly and inspired behavior in a fellow creature or human being in response.  They offer the children descriptive, imaginative pictures of the results of low acts and the internal excitement of a noble task, nobly performed.  And then later then she gets to hear her own story-words quoted from one child to another as they play!  As in the other grades, the most pertinent themes and developmental tasks are mirrored by other teachers and activities – Eurythmy movements, outdoor games.  In the second year, animals and saints are joined by characters like the King of Ireland’s son and Finn MacCoull the giant, as the flavour of fairy tale lingers on from grade one in a new context, infused by Celtic culture and motifs as well as the beasts and saints.  In story, songs, and spoken verse, which weave the fabric of the children’s days at Sunrise, the play between light and dark continues for Class Two.    - This article was written by a Sunrise Waldorf School parent for the Daybreak Monthly Newsletter which can be viewed online at www.sunrisewaldorfschool.org

100% Placement Assistance In DIET courses

Teaching in schools has become the most liked profession by girls now-a-days. The teaching profession already has the status of respect and honor. The biggest attraction is the working hours which help females to maintain a balance between the work and the home. Women can pursue their career even after they get married if they are willing to work as teaching hours provide ample time left which can be used to look after the family. Earlier the girls were more attracted towards the corporate jobs as it is a better paid job domain. But now as the sixth pay commission has been declared, the rises in the teacher's salaries have come like a cool breeze. The teachers are enjoying salaries which are equivalent to the pay scales of engineers in mnc's. The pre-requisite for joining the teaching field is that you should have done teacher training courses like Ntt/Nptt/Ecce/B.ed. The schools are also becoming brands now-a-days. Before Appointing the teachers, they are very careful and consider only the trained candidates. Moreover as the teachers' job involves handling the students who are live units, so they should be well trained and must be well versed with child psychology, educational methods like playway, teaching aids, computer aided teaching, comprehensive evaluation etc. Anything which does not support the fundamentals of teaching is if practiced by the teacher can bring a bad name to the school, so a well trained teacher is the requirement of all good schools. If anybody is willing to make a career in teaching can undergo the nursery teacher training or nursery primary teacher training provided by various govt and private institutes. Some good institutes in Delhi like DIET, indoss polytechnic etc. provide such training. A graduate with more than 50% marks can do B.Ed from any ugc approved university. Teacher training courses can be of duration one or two years. But this is for sure that once a person has undergone the teacher training programme, he /she will not be short of employment. This is a zero unemployment profession. CONTACT DETAILS- 9212441844Location- J-198 IInd Floor, Rajouri Garden opp. Kukreja Hospital

Motion creates Emotion and motivation for learning in Children

All motion creates emotion and the focus of this article is to highlight this point and its relevance to children learning and improving their literacy and numeracy through various learning strategies.   Movement is such an important thing and we all know that children are at their happiest when able to move. However, the logistics of teaching in school means they if they were moving around all the time it would be total chaos and there would be little or no improvement in their literacy or numeracy.    But what about in the home?   The expectation is again that children will sit quietly and get on with learning and homework. It is really important to realise that this expectation leads to a lack of motivation.   However, the parent at home has a great advantage over the formal setting of the school and that is that children can be encouraged take part in learning strategies that involve moving about. The resultant increased motivation to learn, and to do it for longer periods, greatly increases children’s literacy and numeracy.   The Learning Well and TimesTablesMaths.com have developed a number of systems that use movement as one of the keys to learning and tapping into the increased motivation that this brings.   The systems can be used for children learning maths, writing, speaking, absorbing facts of all sorts, and greatly increasing the rate of learning for both their literacy and numeracy.   One such system is the Memory Map. What’s that? Memory Mapping provides a very clear structure, is very easy to remember, and can be used to improve literacy in all its forms.   Children can produce a Memory Map and place it on a wall, an easel, or draw it on a chart and have a freedom to move which gets them working at peak literacy performance. Children love working in this way.   The Map uses speaking and movement as the key to improving literacy, enabling you to interact and provide feedback to your children learning.   Children can be walking up and down the room, play acting, anything that gets them using movement and the Memory Mapping technique to learn. So, the whole process becomes more like play and fun and so their motivation is raised and their literacy significantly enhanced.   You can create a superb learning environment in the home and outside and by using a combination of movement learning and memory techniques, you will be able to see a marked difference in your child’s behaviour, their ability to retain knowledge, and an improved literacy and numeracy performance in the classroom.

Back to School Planning: How to Prepare Your Preschooler for a Smooth Transition

Your child is about to enter her first year of preschool. You are both excited but you are worried at the same time. What if she cries? What if she holds on to you and begs you not to leave her? What if her teacher is mean? While all of these are reasonable concerns, remember why you have signed her up for preschool in the first place. You are giving her an opportunity to make friends and learn how to socialize with her peers and teachers; develop her communication skills; learn more about he world around her; and begin feeling independent and responsible. Isn't all that very, very good? Some tips to make the transition smoother:1. Take her to school ahead of time to introduce her to her new teacher (who I promise, will not be mean!)2. Let her visit the classroom to see where she will be spending her time.3. Allow her to play on the playground and encourage her to find a favorite activity there that she can look forward to visiting when school starts.4. Let her choose her own backpack that will make her excited to show off to her friends.5. Let her choose her own back-to-school outfit (that you approve of) to give her a confident feeling as she walks through the door.6. Be sure to say goodbye to her at the door and allow her to walk into the classroom without you. That physical separation allows her to understand the boundaries. This is her classroom and you will leave to do the things you need to do.7. Leave her with a smile even if you feel broken up inside watching your little girl starting a new adventure on her own, without you.8. Promise that you'll be back, and PLEASE, don't be late at pick-up time. This is a wonderful new adventure for your child and your family. Enjoy the time you have free to hit the gym, run errands unencumbered, or just take a bath and read. A positive attitude will go a long way to making your child's transition successful. check out my blog at http://www.preschoolteach.blogspot.comemail me at terribakman@gmail.com

Student Life at College: Progress and its Effects on College

College life is, probably, the most interesting period in life of every person. This period is associated with both assessments, tests, exams, students projects and fun, joy and, of course, noisy parties. Though, entertainment is no less important for students, the process of education is of primary importance. Students life and process of education are changed due to the development of technologies and progress. There are advantages and disadvantages of progress and its affect on the students life.Advantages:Simple process of education. Due to development of different computer programs and Internet it is simpler to search for necessary information, as nowadays the greatest part of libraries are available online. Moreover, students do not have to write their works by hand, they can use computers. Communication with parents become easier. Due to the development of different mobile services, those students who study far from their homes have more opportunities to call parents and friends. Internet gave the start for development of different means of online communication such as ICQ, Facebook and many other social nets. They help students to be aware of the latest events of the world and get in touch with each other. Modern development. Due to some new technologies students laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment that makes the process of education easier and more exciting for students. Modern facilities in the campuses. Practically every college tries to provide their students with the best facilities in campuses in order to make their life more convenient. It gives students the opportunity to study, prepare for lectures and labs and, of course, entertain. In every dorm of the campus there is a special hall for arrangement of discos, cinema and other activities. Availability of all modern conveniences in college and in the hostels is a great advantage of college, as it helps to attract students to enter.

After You Have Been Reading Aloud to Your Child it is Time to Start Guided Readin

Guided Reading is when the children can read by themselves. With guided reading always start with something easy to read to help build confidence. Usually your child should be able to understand about 90% of the book. It is better to start with picture books so your child can look at the pictures to get the words. Now this is where phonics comes in. If your child can read the word phonetically then she will hear the word. You should see the lights come on in her face when she recognizes the word. When children first start to say words phonetically they usually say them too slow so they don’t mean anything. You must say, “Say the word faster.” You may find some kids have problems running the phonics together so instead of saying a word they say each phonic sound. With practice they will get better. Guided reading is about planting reading strategies in your child’s mind. If she gets stuck on a word ask if there is any part of the word she knows. For example the word ‘bear.’ Ask if she can see part of the word she understands and if she says ‘ear’ then ask her to pronounce ‘ear’ with a ‘b’ in front. This way your child learns how to read new words by using what she already knows. When your child gets stuck on a word you should not say the word straight away. It is better to let your child try and work it out by herself. Guided reading is letting your child take responsibility for her reading by letting her decide what she wants to read. When a child is reading a book she wants to read she will try but the opposite is usually true for books your child does not want to read.If you have trouble with phonics I found this course to be very good.

How to Pass an Exam: Advice from Experienced Students

In order to pass exams successfully students are ready to take some steps. Some of them study material thoroughly and prepare carefully, while others prefer to stay up late the night before the exam and study all the material during one night. There are so many articles and works devoted to the topic of exam passing, but every student is free to choose his/her preferable way. Do not forget that the marks you received during the academic semester are not obviously your ticket to the successful passing of exam. They can become very helpful when your mark at the exam is not stable. For example, your answer was not brilliant, but your grades received within the semester are excellent. So, these grades may save you during the exam. The same can be said about bad marks. If your marks during semester were bad, you have the chance improve your results due to brilliant performance at the exam. There are some useful pieces of advice how to behave at the exam. Before the exam:• In case of any problems with the material or difficulties while studying, tell your teacher about it in order to receive his/her help.• If possible, try to know in what way you will pass your exam.• Pick up the papers necessary for the exams as soon as possible.• Make sure that you have all the necessary material for your preparation and in case of any free slots, find material that is lack.During the exam:• When you pick up your paper, start preparation immediately, thinking about every question in the paper.• Behave calmly and keep your excitement. Hesitation and diffidence can simply spoil your exam.• While answering try to devote time to every question proportionally.• After making notes, try to answer with and without notes, if you have time

LINEAR EQUATIONS

LINEAR EQUATIONS Equations are very essential to math and linear equation one of such equations. So what is exactly linear equation? A linear equation is an algebraic equation in which each term is either a constant or the product of a constant and (the first power of) a single variable. In simple words linear equations is any equation that when graphed produces a straight line. So simple a definition then why it is hard solving linear equations. Solving math problems has never been easy but to starting with the basics always strengthens the roots. So let us start learning the basics of linear, it might help us. Linear equations can have one or more variables. It occurs with great regularity in applied mathematics. While they arise quite naturally when modeling many phenomena, they are particularly useful since many non-linear equations may be reduced to linear equations by assuming that quantities of interest vary to only a small extent from some "background" state. While solving linear equations adopting certain pattern helps to do it faster and easier. When any linear equation is given, first one has to check whether it is a linear equation in one variable or linear equation in two variables. Depending upon this start to solve linear equation using certain steps. First consider the given linear equation. Secondly, shift the constant terms to right hand side and retain terms with variables on left hand side itself. Thirdly, perform the mathematical operation required on both the sides with like terms. On solving linear equation, resultant will be the value of the variable. Following this pattern will help you to solve the equation properly. After learning the basics we can proceed further and now it would be smoother, so give a try. Starting with the basics always help with math. So follow the pattern and see how easy linear equations become.

How to Help Struggling and Reluctant Readers

Article from: My Family UK Sometimes the support and encouragement your child needs to enjoy reading calls for a little creativity, especially if they show a lack of interest. Reading Reading, whether it is by the child or the parent, should not be confined to school, homework and bedtime. Encouraging reading in the morning stimulates the mind into activity, preparing children for school, while reading on days out can supply a sense of achievement and pride, which will make any trip run more smoothly. Breakfast By encouraging children to read cereal boxes over breakfast, or the ingredients and witticisms on smoothie bottles, reading can develop into an enjoyable and necessary activity. Weekends A great way to keep your child reading through the holidays or at weekends is to encourage the reading of your surroundings: from sport scoreboards and the bus timetable on the way home, to adverts and signposts that you might encounter. In this way, you establish the sense that reading is essential to life, travel, and also to being entertained. What to read together? Choosing appropriate reading material is vital. Do not be scared of reading comics or magazines with your child if this is what engages them: by being interested in the subject matter, children will be motivated to find out more. Modern children are surrounded by technology: computers, computer games, televisions: things which reduce the need to read to a minimum. Instead of fighting this, however, you can turn it to your advantage. Buying eBooks (electronic books) can increase the novelty of reading - try www.i-stars.co.uk, an eBookshop specifically for parents and teachers. Ebooks can be purchased for £5, and can be read on computers, laptops or handheld devices such as PSPs. Books aren't the only things to read electronically: you can introduce your child to a wide range of websites that they'll enjoy, featuring their favourite characters and pop stars. Subject matter Whether paper or electronic, it is important to select texts which have content that's interesting and appropriate for your child’s age. There are a growing number of resources available for reluctant and for low ability readers of a variety of ages: these are non-patronising in content but have a manageable, accessible level of English. Although each child likes something different, it is worth asking teachers or other parents for recommendations. At present there are many options on the market including: combinations of fact and fiction (such as Download and Snapshots); dark, gripping fiction (such as The Extraordinary Files and Shadows) or girl- and boy-focused stories (Magic Mates or Mystery Mob). Scientific Careers: Flavorist vs. Cardiovascular Technologist

Some professions require specific skills and formal education. All postgraduate studies and scientific careers are aimed at developing students' talent, skills, and potential abilities. When a student wants to become a cardiovascular technologist, it is a very laudable act. However, different talented students want to continue their education in different ways. Some of them want to become scientists and put theory into practice, whereas others want to obtain postgraduate studies. If you are active and want to realize your scientific inclinations, you should choose one of the options suggested. Pros and Cons of Being a FlavoristSome people think that the profession of a flavorist is somehow connected to the occupation of a florist. Flowers are certainly relevant to the profession of a flavorist but it is not the main point. The basic activity of a flavorist is aimed at tasting different odors and defining inappropriateness. Different laboratories require flavorists that would check the quality of certain products (it can be something excluding food) in terms of odors. If a person has a good nose, he/she can work as a flavorist in a scientific laboratory that produces different perfumes. The main disadvantage of this profession is that a person can lose the flair due to excessive workload. Pros and Cons of Being a Cardiovascular TechnologistBlood vessel diseases and heart diseases are the main issues relevant to the job of a cardiovascular technologist. This profession presupposes dealing with patients and choosing the most appropriate ways of treatment contrasting those to some alternative approaches and options. If you want to heal people's hearts and different diseases relevant to this essential organ, you should become a cardiovascular technologist. You can choose any career you like. I really enjoy learning definitions to words.  For example, I remember sitting in my youth group years ago and hearing our teacher say that sin, in its foundational definition, means to miss the mark.  In other words, sin puts us off track from where God wants us to be.  Our elementary kids need to understand this and realize that all "miss the mark" and sin at times.  That's what Romans 3:23 says.  Here's the complete version:  "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  Here is a fun Bible school activity you can play with your kids to help them memorize this important Bible verse.  It's called "Missing the Mark".Here's what you do:This game can actually be played indoors or out.  If you are cooped up in your classroom all the time, you might want to grab a piece of sidewalk chalk and head outside.  Otherwise you will need to make the following grid, I will describe, on your floor with some masking tape.  Make a 12-square grid, but then put a 13th square right in the middle.  I suggest making the grid about 1.5 yards long and wide.  Next, label each square, except for the middle one, with one word from Romans 3:23 along with a point value of 200, 300, or 400.  The middle square gets a point value of 500.  There are 12 words in Romans 3:23 including the reference.  Do not place them in any kind of order.  They should look scrambled on the grid.  Finally, grab a beanbag or some other object that will throw and land nicely on the grid.  You are now ready to play the game. Here's how to play:Before beginning the game, say the following:  Have any of you ever shot an arrow?  (Wait for responses.  If no one has shot an arrow, ask if they've ever seen someone shoot an arrow.)  I've shot an arrow and I hardly ever made the bulls eye.  I always missed the mark.  Did you know that's kind of what sin is like?  It's like missing the mark or falling short of where you should be – where God wants you to be.  Romans 3:23 says this: "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  This verse means that we are all sinners and we all miss the mark at times and do wrong things that displease God.  Let's play a game called "Missing the Mark" to help us memorize this important Bible verse.Divide your class into 2 teams for this Bible school activity.  Give a child from the first team the chance to throw the beanbag.  He should try for the middle square.  If he succeeds, he must look away from the grid and recite Romans 3:23 by heart.  If he does so correctly, he earns 500 points for his team.  If he lands on a square with a word on it, he can earn the points on that square by saying the verse while looking at the grid.  However, before he says it, you the teacher, must erase the word in the box.  Play continues to the next team.  Eventually, it will get harder to recite the verse as the words are erased.  On any turn, if the beanbag lands on a square whose word has already been erased, then the teacher erases a different word on the grid, but the child only earns the points of the original square.  The team with the most points wins.

Play With a Purpose

Playing with toys not only entertain your child, but they also teach them life skills and early education. Some toys are specifically designed with the purpose to enhance your child’s learning abilities and social skills. A mini play cube is a great example of this. The toys found on a mini play cube usually include: pathfinders, letters from the alphabet, an abacus, gears, and beads. All of which are used for different learning purposes that will enhance your child’s early education. You have more than likely seen your child choose this toy to play with while you were waiting in a doctor’s office, while at school, or in another type of waiting room. This toy is also great to have at your home, not only for educational purposes, because there is no clean up or a way for the toy to get lost and children can learn while at home. The mini play cube teaches your child so many great things such as counting, the alphabet, hand and eye coordination, and cooperative play. Parents and teachers often find themselves teaching children how to share and play well in a group. The mini play cube is great for teaching them cooperative play. Learning cooperative play at an early age will prove to be beneficial for a lifetime. Cooperation allows for children and adults to form relationships and relate to other people. More than one child can play with a play cube because there are up to five activities on it. One child can learn to count with the abacus while another child can move the beads around on the wire tracks. Also, each toy can be used with more than one child at a time. Children can work together to make designs and patterns with the beads or spell words with the alphabet letters. While children are learning and practicing cooperative play, they are also refining their counting skills and alphabet memorization. The abacus found on the mini play cube is used for basic math, such as addition and subtraction, and counting. These basic math skills are the foundation for more advanced math. The first step in learning the value of numbers is being able to count. The same is applied with knowing the alphabet. Before your child can read, write, or spell; they must know the entire alphabet. The mini play cub includes the letters from the alphabet and children can play with the letters, start to recognize them, and sing the alphabet song while playing with the toy. If you are buying toys for your school, home, or waiting room; you should take into consideration the advantages the mini play cube has. It is a fun toy that doesn’t require clean up, it’s safe, and children learn to count, play well with others, and the alphabet.

"Road Rage"

"The Real Cause of Road Rage"By Steven Montes,June 6, 2006Road Rage has become one of the many topics that I have seen on several TV News Channels.Announcing that Road Rage is now new a type of mental disorder. It is important that we understand, as a society, just how this mental condition first evolved to such an aggressive state. (So that the treatment for this type of mental condition can be deterred or diminished greatly. I have discovered that Road Rage comes from a social up-bringing in our society that first starts when we enter the public, or private School systems. We learn at a very young age the basic fundamental skills which brings about Road Rage. Children five to six years of age, are un-intentionally taught Road Rage in our schools when we first begin our education program. The children are unaware that as they grow up they are about to become carriers for this growing type of bad behavior that has claimed the lives of so many innocent people on our streets, and highways throughout the country. This growing phenomenon is very simplex in nature, it begins when we are taught our basic forms of discipline that we first learn when we are taught to stand in long line to go eat, play, fire drills, or while standing in line so a teacher can take attendance. We were taught as children that if we raced, pushing and shoving to the head of the line that we could have the best pick of seats in a classroom, or the first to be fed when we raced to the front of the line to eat at the school cafeteria. For some of us we can also relate to what it was like to be the last, and how most of the good food at the school cafeteria had run out. From my own personal experience, I can state that I was not infected by this type of environmental learning conditioning, and only because I was always the one at the back of the line no matter what. So as a result I grew up to be very passive, and considerate of other people while on the road, or just standing in a long line in a grocery store, bank line, or a movie theater line in my everyday life.I also developed a very high tolerance of being patient as result of being last. I can also recall being proud of being last one in line, only because there was no pressure to be first as I had witnessed with the other children my age as they fought and pushed to be first. I am sure we all can relate to our own experiences when we were once in school. Remember the first time someone took cuts in a long line that you were standing in as a kid, and how you witnessed the behavior of other kids objecting to this type of action.. Do you also remember the out cry, and actions of the other kids that were in protest as this kid was let in to line by friends, or other classmates, do you also recall how the person that cut in front of another kid was punished with rude comments, or maybe you witnessed a fight break out over this incident. This type of behavior is the beginning of our environmental mental conditioning that leads some of us to our basic, and well developed hatred of someone cutting in front of us. All through school we are taught this form of unacceptable behavior that grows into this instinctive type of hatred. As a result, when we are old enough to drive we tend to manifest, and draw from our deep seeded childhood experiences, as we act out in the form of Road Rage. This type of behavior is triggered by one of our basic and primitive human emotions, called revenge. At the low end of this mental condition. Some children that have been exposed to small amounts of this environmental conditioning at an early age, later grow up to act out there deep seeded instinctive aggressions verbally, and maybe even with a hand signal that lets everyone around them know that they are aggravated by this type of action from being cut off in traffic. At the high end of this growing phenomenon we can expect to see more of an aggressive, and irrational behavior in people that have had more of an exposure to this environmental conditioning. In some cases we can expect the pushing, and shoving to be replaced by the instinct pushing, and shoving using our cars in our attempt to satisfy our basic, and primitive emotions we know as revenge. The results can be devastating to innocent bystanders who become involved in an accident that was caused be this instinctive behavior. In other cases where street gangs that hold respect above all else, we can also expect more of a criminal behavior as some gangs act out their aggressive behavior with guns on the street when cut off in traffic, or on highways. Having the experience of being able to identify the core of this problem associated with Road Rage, I have developed a educational training program for teachers that is an effective solution to this type of environmental conditioning that results in Road Rage, Street Gangs, as well as other mental conditions that are manifested through this type of mental conditioning in our schools. For more information on how I can be more effective in your community please feel free to call me at 520-749-1105, or e-mail me at Smontes@scientist.comAbout AuthorI have a love for science.Article Source: http://www.1888articles.com

Christian Schools: Hope for Christianity

Search Christian Schools is a problem, I've been sympathetic about that, and again I'm scarcely indivisible. Teachers, students, parents, also administrator's undocked can grow into powerful about the problems of national light. Country fellow argue that in the industrialized West, instruction normally takes place within the structured environment of a classroom; locality a pioneer makes use of various tools also techniques to pipe seventh heaven to pupils. Intuition has been mainly willing a repository of neutral poop conveyed by a talented connections impression technique, again mastery of these knowledge is the goal of education. We can call this a Prime objective of Christian Schools that it provided us the complete Christian Schools Directory, This movement, as lousy with have noted, originally developed for a way to avoid the parents botheration period for searching the right option for their children. Historically, especially in that American Protestants, just scholarship has followed this model; hold back its priorities of classroom instruction, curriculum development, and further dependence on an adept ideal consistent if the capacity is based on merely practicality the guiding spirit prep ascendancy the curriculum. This Avenue is not astray its merits! Sensible is a competent nearing to chronicle many Bible facts, a scrupulous worldview, again polestar doctrines. Besides who does not luxuriate in to sit at the feet of a fertile guru or preacher? Still, Christian Schools raised hands towards those parents who really want their children to be educated from Christian PrepSchools; from the beginning. Indubitable tends to make credit mostly a purpose of the hypothesis further divorces it from secretive experience. If the pre-eminent belief for Christians is over outlined by Augustine and others; a personal, experiential surmise of God, then we solicitude something more. The educational outline of Jesus was rooted ropes a powerful different approach: aware force and salt away a community, accordingly that theology was not only taught but besides lived impact the connotation of district relief. Jesus' educational mode is not unbiased in the least it is remarkably not impressed consequence impression that helps us remains impartial and mushroom about haste. Instead, substantive is profoundly subjective, that is, into shadow creating a loony loyalty to Jesus and over-the-top trial considering others. The Question of Saving for Your Children's Education

Parents always care for their children. Particularly, education is the most important. Education secures the future of a child. Who can deny that? But have you saved enough for your kids at the first place? Did you know that college financial-aid system can punish you for having money savings outside of retirement accounts and even more for investments being made that bears the name of your child? It is a complete paradox. You first married to your spouse, hoping to build a happy, healthy family. Then you have your first born child. Few years down the road, you may or may not be struggling to make ends meet. You realize that you still have to save for your kids' education and future. What about purchasing a car for going to school or university?Funding your child alone could mean sacrificing all personal gratifications for the love of your children. Some parents are even struggling at the idea of being selfish or being loving to their children. The key is to maintain a balance here instead of overspending on a child or yourself at the first place. This also teaches him or her (your children) to be a better parent next time.It does sound a little bit not right at first. It can even sound very self-centered. But truth to be told, you, even as a parent, must control your future first.  First and foremost, take charge of your retirement account which is tax-protected. Only then you can proceed to save money in your children accounts. What if you had given it all for your children first and you yourself second? Well, this is not a smart move. In the end, you might have to depend on your children in future. In turn, this creates a burden for them when they become adults themselves. On the subject of saving for huge spending, never ever do it with credit. Huge spending includes buying a boat, plane ticket, and so on. These kind of spending are branded as consumer items, contrary to the wealth-building assets and investments (such as real estate and businesses). The subject of instant gratification is always at hand. Instead, learn how to delay those impulses. Saving for large purchases is always better than spending on credit. Spending on credit will make a person spend first and pay later. In the end, you should know that debts caused by credit spending will slow you down from achieving financial freedom. Just to illustrate, a figure of 20% of interest rate is enough to let you know how high it is.

Cumulative Grade Point Average: Introspection

Cumulative grading points average: Introspection.Mondofacto online medical dictionary defines cumulative grading point average as  "the numerical average of  all the student's grades achieved duringthe study at an institution". The system is introduced to cut unnecessary competition between young minds for scoring higher marks. But what has been accompalished by introducding the GPA to evaluate the performace of the students vis vis the earlier percentage system. The introduction of the system has rained in confusion as recent experiece of admission seekeers to class XI has borne out.It is meting out discriminatory attitude to ISCE  Cth pass outs. The evaluation of these students as per CBSE guidelines is miserably putting them in lower status leaving them high and dry.In the backdrop of the CSSE guidelines, students who have got E grades will have to clear their papers before July,if they have to secure admissions in class XI.Earlier they were admitted to class XI, and given five opportunities to clear their compartment papers. A Layman fails to comprehend if grade E meaning "needs improvement" is read as "compartment" ( as it used to be termed earlier) then what is the point of introducing confusion in the system.More than nine lakh students appeared for CBSE class X examwhich was held under the grading system this year.Of this 13000 students have been given E grade.3000 students from the city are in this E bracket. District Eduction Officer has denied them and compartment students of Punjab and Haryana Board admission to Class XI,unless they clear the EIOP exam in July and secure grade D or above. This is more stressful than the earlier system of allowing multiple chances to the student community.Tie breakers also pose problems. Students getting grade A2 are all those who have secured marks between 80-90%. A school having, say, 35 seats and getting 40 applications of the same grade needs to refuse admission to five shall be at a quandry to decide whom not to admit. ‘Administrtive climate' in our country being wellknown to everyone, it  will lead to ‘siphaaris' or other via media for admission. We see some schools adopting grading system in the elementary classes, but that is the age, when the pupil is completely ignorant of its effects. But in higher classes, percentage differences up to two decimals is taken into consideration for ranking. CBSE chairperson Vineet Joshi saying "We will come up with detailed guidelines for schools by March end. Our guidelines will clarify how to break a tie. It is a pilot test and we hope it will work well." However, I am unware of any guidelines.Private Schools in Chandigarh have been given toworkmout their own options for admission. Most of the private schools are minority schools. These would prefer to work out their own norms as they have been doing till now. Any guidelines to them shall be challenged in theminority commission as unnecssaryinterference in their working  and allegations of arms twisting for admissions shall surface. It  has rightly been  pointed out tht grading minus internal assessmment means little and it  has rightly  been assessed that "the mark sheets handed over to the students does not make any mention of cumulative marking in activities except the annual examination." It is ovbisouly difficult to eliminte the confusion thus created as all schools donot have identical facilities and infrastructure that is pivotal to assess pupil's merit. On the other hand, teachers complain that the new system has turned them in office routine stealing their teaching mode. Work load of the teachers has increased manifold and it is causing  them rising stress levels. If this allowed to persist, we can imagine that the good spirit shall cause evil effects. It is true many countries have devised cumulative grading point average in their education system but this is no ground to introduce the same procedure in our system without first evaluating its fall out on indian horizon. Our HRD Minister Kapil sibal's intentions can not be questioned, but he could not foresee policy's hiccups is well established withstanding the first year's experience. Satish Chandra Sharma,General Secretary,Chandigarh Social Welfare Council,R/o # 1605, Progressive Enclave,Sector50-B, Chandigarh Cell: 9888-255-128.

Play with Math

Play with Math Reading the title itself might have shocked many of you. You might be thinking how we can play with math because playing always means fun and there is no fun with math problems. Math can never be fun, it is so hard to tackle and we just hate math. This is exactly the same what I used to think when I was in school. I too used to hate math a lot and after my 10th I was very happy thinking, finally math has left me. But that is near to impossible. Just think over it, can you leave math. Don't you use math everyday? You buy something, you calculate, so you do math. You pay someone you calculate, so you do math again. This is how it works, you can't get rid of numbers, calculations and you can't get rid of math. When we use something everyday why not make it fun rather than making it a painful job. So let's start enjoying math.First get rid of the thought that math is a monster. Think the other way. Think that you are a monster and you will eat up math. God's Groceries: A Super Bible School Activity for Memorizing Psalm 119:103

What's your favorite food?  Chocolate chip cookies?  Lasagna?  Bacon and eggs?  Now what's really better?  Your favorite food or God's Word?  I hope you said, "God's Word."  The psalmist thought so in Psalm 119:103, which says: "How sweet are your promises to my taste! Sweeter than honey to my mouth!" Every word in the Bible can nourish our souls.  Here's a fun Bible school activity that can be played much like Bingo.  But this game will introduce your kids to foods listed in the Bible and the contexts in which they're found.  It's called "God's Groceries".Here's what you do:This game will take some preparation, but your kids will be blessed by your effort.  Prepare 2 identical sets of 18 different picture cards of foods found in the Bible.  (I have provided you with a list below.)  Make your cards about 2"x 2".  Laminate them for long-term use.  Place one set of the cards in a bucket out of which the kids will pick.  Take the other set of cards and divide them into 2 sets of nine and place each set in a 3 x 3 grid on a table or in a pocket chart.  Have the list of questions ready that are found below.  You are now ready to play the game. Here's how you play:Divide your class into 2 teams.  Begin by saying much of the same that I said in the opening of this article.  It's a nice opener for the game.  Each team will get a bingo grid that they are trying to get 3 in a row on.  Let a child come forward and answer one of the Grocery List Questions.  If he gets it correct, he gets to take out a card out of the bucket and match it to one of the cards on either grid.  Hopefully, the card will match a card on his team's grid, but it might match the other team's grid.  This is OK.  In fact, it makes the game a little more fun and competitive.  Play alternates between the two teams.  The first team to get 3 in a row, wins.List of Foods: (Just a sample)Cinnamon, garlic, dates, olives, nuts, raisins, beans, cucumbers, onions, bread, corn, fish, quail, pigeon, goat, lamb, butter, cheese.Grocery List Questions:When asking the question, read the verse and say the word "blank" for the missing food.We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the (________), and the garlic:  Numbers 11:5  (onions)This verse is talking about the Israelites when they were wandering in the desert.  They were complaining about the food situation and were remembering back to days when they at least had this kind of food that looks like a ball and when people cut it, it often makes them cry. What Bible food is it?And it came to pass, (that) David…brought beds, and basins, and earthen vessels, and wheat, and barley, and flour, and parched corn, and (__________)…2 Samuel 17:28  (beans)If you've ever gone camping, you know you must pack food for your journey.  This verse shows a time when David was camping out in the wilderness in the land of Gilead.  One of the foods they brought for their campout were these tiny little things that when cooked become kind of mushy and people love to put them in their burritos with cheese. What Bible food is it?Then Jacob gave Esau (________) and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. Genesis 25:34  (bread)Poor silly Esau!  If only he had cared more about the things God had given him, such as his birthright, than thinking about his stomach, this Bible story might have turned out differently!  Jacob gave his brother a pot of stew and this doughy food that is often used to make sandwiches. What Bible food is it?And he took the seven loaves and the (________), and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. Matthew 15:36  (fish)How was Jesus going to feed all the people who came to hear him speak with only seven loaves of bread and this food that is often caught with a pole and a worm on a hook?  He fed them by a miracle! What Bible food is it?These are the (animals) which ye shall eat: the ox, the (________), and the goat… Deuteronomy 14:4   (sheep)In the Old Testament, being a child of the Lord meant that you could only eat certain things.  This verse shows a partial food list of meats they were allowed to eat.  The missing meat comes from an animal that is not known for its intelligence and likes to say, "Bah" a lot. What Bible food is it?Surely the churning of milk brings forth (________), and the wringing of the nose brings forth blood: so the forcing of wrath brings forth strife. Proverbs 30:33  (butter)This Bible verse uses a yellowish food that is often added to popcorn at the movie theatre.  This food is smooth, but wrath or anger is not.  It's better that you stir up this food rather than a bad temper. What Bible food is it?Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like (_________)?Job 10:10  (cheese)Poor Job!  God allowed him to go through a lot of hardships.  No wonder he felt like God was poking him and forming him into this kind of food that is often served with crackers in many different varieties, such as cheddar and swiss. What Bible food is it?If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? or if he shall ask an (________), will he offer him a scorpion?  Luke 11:12  (egg)This verse shows that God will always give His children what is best.  He is our Father.  Would a good father ever give his child a scorpion if he asked for this kind of food that is often scrambled in the morning and served with bacon? What Bible food is it?And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat (________) and wild honey… Mark 1:6  (locusts)John the Baptist must have made an interesting dinner guest - especially if he ever requested this kind of food which is really just a green hopping insect that was also one of the plagues found in Exodus.  Do you think they were crunchy? What Bible food is it?And thou shall not glean thy vineyard, neither shall thou gather every (________) of thy vineyard; thou shall leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 19:10  (grape)After the Lord led Moses and the children of Israel out of Egypt, he had a long talk with Moses and gave him a list of do's and don'ts.  This Bible verse shows how God wanted his children to take care of the poor and stranger by leaving some of this food on the ground for them to take.  This food is often found in clusters and grows on vines.  They are usually green and purple. What Bible food is it?Moreover the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, "Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet (_________) half so much… Exodus 30:23 (cinnamon)While the children of Israel were in the desert, God commanded Moses to build a tabernacle where God could dwell.  God gave detailed instructions of how he wanted it built.  He even wanted this sweet brown spice, which is often used with sugar to make ooey gooey rolls to be a part of His dwelling place. What Bible food is it?But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of (________). Genesis 19:26  (salt)Lot's wife had a difficult time trusting in God.  Because of her lack of trust, she turned into this white food that is often a spice on every kitchen table.  Be careful!  Don't put too much on and don't look back when God tells you not to!What Bible food is it?

Confidence Building - The Ultimate Teaching Strategy

In today's customer focused world a private music teacher faces a big challenge. A customer oriented world means the customer rules. What the customer wants the customer gets. What the customer wants is to find the best solution to their problem at the price they can afford. Almost every successful business today is customer focused. As teachers we offer a service. The customers are our students. What they initially want from a guitar teacher is a method of learning guitar. They want to know we have the best solution within their budget. Now here is where it gets complicated. The hope of every student is you have the magic pill. They really want to believe you have the secret or at the very least a method that gets some degree of a result. This means when their progress seems too slow they will look for alternatives. An better path if you will. For the student, learning guitar is like standing at the foot of Mt Everest hoping that the summit is only a few hours away with an escalator and a nice choice of restaurants and shops along the way. The role of the guide is to prepare them for the reality of the journey. The guide needs to be honest. "I want to say that at times the climb will be extremely difficult. You will want to give up and turn back at times. This is to be expected. In fact 80% of people want to give up in the early stages but those who push past this difficult point will usually end up reaching the summit". By preparing your students for the climb up guitar mountain they are more likely to complete the journey. Your goal as the teacher is to get 100% of your students to the summit by preparing them for the journey. A common misconception amongst teachers is that the goal of each lesson is to make it fun. We could say the same about the mountain climb but the guide knows his/her mission is to get the climbers to the top. Making lessons fun is a great way to help students enjoy the process (journey) but you need to be careful that you are are not confusing the purpose of the lesson. Fun should be like the bonus track on the CD. I am certainly not saying your lessons should not be fun but fun should not be the main aim. Let me explain. There are many teachers who have lots of students and are very popular with their students yet most of their students make little or no progress. This teacher earns a reputation of being fun and can often become popular in the short term. Overtime as with any business that does not produce the results promised (to be able to play guitar) they will simply not last in business. Students and their parents are not always aware that it is the teacher who is the problem but they know something is not working. After 6 months or a year of lessons and very little progress they will usually quit. Making the lessons fun only acts as a deception which is eventually revealed. Why do so many teachers focus on fun? You will find this fascinating I am sure. When a student turns up for their first few lessons they are excited. This makes the job of the fun focused teacher easy. But as the weeks pass and the student realises the difficulty of learning guitar their enthusiasm begins to disappear. So in effort to turn a negatived somewhat defeated looking student into a happy one they focus on injecting some fun into the lessons which can serve as a distraction. This usually puts a smile on the student's face and helps them to relax and enjoy the time spent with their teacher. They may even go home feeling excited about the whole experience for a few hours. Children might even say to their parents 'Guitar lessons are so much fun' so their parents feel the lessons are worthwhile. The real problem is the teacher is misinterpreting the situation. The fun focused teacher does not realise that when a student shows signs of boredom, disinterest, restlessness, anger, frustration or even resentment the student is in fact losing confidence in their ability to play guitar. When a student loses confidence making the lesson fun so to speak is just an attempt from the teacher to rescue the student. Injecting fun in the moment is often a good strategy but it is not a long term solution to the real problem of diminishing confidence. The reason students lose confidence is actually no different to why anyone loses confidence. Confidence is simply believing you can and lack of confidence is believing you can't. Our role as teachers is to build a case for students to believe they can. The way to build confidence is to keep each challenge or step within their reach. So often I have seen teachers getting frustrated because they are teaching a student a song and the student just doesn't get it. The teacher will say something like "Just watch my hands... Okay now you do it... No not like that. Watch again... You try... No please watch me closely this time..." and so on. The teacher keeps doing the same thing and somehow expecting the student to get it. Each time the student attempts and fails and hears the word "No" or "Wrong" their confidence drops a little. Before too long the student feels defeated and would rather give up then have to go through another 30 minutes of watching his/her teacher getting frustrated. So what should the teacher be doing?. Firstly the teacher needs to accept that they are in control. The teacher's job is to work out the appropriate challenge for each student. If the student isn't getting it so to speak it is because the teacher has set a challenge that is mismatched to the student's current level. This does not always mean level of skill as a student may well have the skill. This desired level of the challenge should match their current level of confidence. When students walk out of a lesson with a feeling of 'I can do this' they feel good. The main aim is for students to improve a little each week in confidence by setting small achievable steps. They will in turn want to practice more and practice means progress. The critical part is getting them into the game early. They need to feel they are winning at all times no matter how small the achievement. E.g. Clapping 4 beats in time with a metronome is a small achievable step. Next try adding a rest. With chords begin with one finger only using the first 3 strings. For more information please visit our website. David Hart - G4 GUITAR SCHOOLS Program Director. What is a triangle?

What is a triangle? What is a triangle? A basic question that strikes while dealing with geometry, one of the important part of math. Solving math problems has never been easy but with few techniques you can surely make it go smoother. This article will let you know about the triangle. A triangle is one of the basic shapes of geometry. It is a polygon having three corners. There are three types of triangles regarding their shapes: scalene, isosceles and equilateral. Scalene is any triangle having 3 different lengths sides. Isosceles is that which have two equal lengths sides and equilateral is that which has 3 equal lengths sides. On the basis of angles again the triangle is divided in three kinds: acute, obtuse and right angle triangle. Acute triangle is that whose all angles are less than 90 degree, obtuse angle triangle is that whose one angle is more than 90 degree and right angle triangle is that whose one angle is equal to 90 degree. This are the basics of knowing a triangle, when you start being familiar with the concepts, the rest of the flow becomes easy. As for example in order to deal with math problems start with the basics of math and then it will become easier to deal with it. Thus your basic knowledge will become your math helper and guide in your math. So next time i am sure if your teacher asks you about a triangle, you will be able to answers very confidently. HONEST PARENTING

HONEST PARENTING----------------------- PARENTING:WHICH ROAD DO I HAVE TO TAKE TO REAR A GOOD CHILD?Getting the necessary items - (like feeding bottles; clothes; cribs; tons of diapers and other baby things as well), Not to mention that you have to start working on the nursery. Being a first time parent is hard enough. THE PROCESS OF BEING A NEW PARENTThere are many websites about parenting that you can find nearly all types of situation possible. Here are the processes that you should know to become skilled in parenting. Proper and good parenting skills teaches you how to actually listen to your child's needs and not relinquish them, but it is all up to you on how can you stand strong and see the issues in your child's eyes and end to a solution that will please you both. You cannot go to any store and get yourself parenting skills, you cannot also download it somewhere form the internet, parenting skill is something that you must become skilled at and it is basically earned. PARENTING AS A NEVER-ENDING JOBThis applies to whether you are just a first timer parent or already have several kids. Nobody can say that parenting is such an easy task. If one day your child comes running to you and starts asking you like "mom/dad I need help", will you say to them sorry, I am too busy now? I do not believe so The first that thing we say is what seems to be the problem and we go trying to find the right solution to help them with their problems. Parenting never stops, whether you just realized it or not. But Being a parent is nothing but a priceless job. TEACH YOUR KIDS SELF-RELIANCENow that they are adults, they too understand that everyone is responsible for the way they built their lives. As young as one-year-old, your child can start learning self-reliance. Do not be surprised if you discover that you're really seeking to fulfill what you then lacked. As young as two years old, a Child can start learning to do easy chores. GET MORE COMPLIANCE IN NINE WAYSBy using rewards - You can focus on your child's positive attitude instead of the negatives. Your child is then less likely to oppose if he/she feels that he/she have some control of the situation. You must always use positive communication - You have to try phrasing your request or command in a much positive way as opposed to a negative way. m. MAKE MEMORIES WITH QUALITY FAMILY TIMEThe following are tips for you to be sure that this is free from stress, and that this will also make memories for all of you to last a lifetime: 1) Try to set at least an hour, and even two hours, before they have to go rushing off to a scheduled activity. After finding that your family is now beginning to enjoy and are all looking forward to your family spending time together, they may even ask that family dinners may be extended. You do not need major makeovers in starting to increase your quality time that you and your family spend together. Talking about negative topics about the news or anything that is unpleasant should not be done while dining together. It must be all positive and uplifting. COMMON CHILD AND PARENT PROBLEMSDo not let fear to come and hit you, the joyful experience that a child can bring to their parents is enough to pay for all the hardships that you will endure in rearing a good child. A lot of the lessons now are all computerized, most probably your child is more adept in using a computer than you are. However, as they approach the age of ten or maybe eleven they may start to rebel against this as a lot of their school friends are already permitted to go off and play by themselves.
